Osun 2022: “Senator Adeleke’s Arrival, APC Days Are Numbered”

A frontline politician in Osun State, Hon Ayodele Asalu has said the arrival of Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke to the state signals countdown to the exit of ruinous All Progressives Congress (APC) government in the state, pointing out that this explains the wild excitement that the news has triggered across the length and breadth of the state.

 

Hon. Ayodele Asalu who saluted Osun people for their perseverance and optimisms in the face of gross maladministration that APC government led by Mr. Gboyega Oyetola represents, he however, declared that “your time of waiting is over as Senator Ademola Adeleke is here to put things in order and restore Osun state on the path of progress and development.”

 

He futher charged Osun people to be unshaken in their resolve to throw APC out of the state starting from July 2022 governorship election, adding that Governor Gboyega Oyetola deceptive move will fail.

 

“Judging from the enthusiasm of Osun people to Nurusa Senator Nurusay Ademola Adeleke back to Osun State since 7th September, 2021, it is crystal clear to every discerning observer that APC time is up in this state,” he noted.

 

“Everywhere you look in Osun today, the people are happy and getting ready to receive Senator Adeleke(the people’s mandate) into the state. It is a feeling never seen before in the history of the state and shows how much he is accepted by the People.

 

“Although, this is not surprising giving to the fact that APC grossly failed Osun people with retrogressive policies and bad governance since it came on board in 2010.”

Can direct primary serve as another way for better democracy?

“Education sector is in disarray as teachers are scarce in public schools, public hospitals lacking needed equipments and personnel, roads across the state are an eyesore and becoming deathtrap to users and many other failings under Governor Oyetola unlike the days of PDP.”

 

“With Senator Ademola Adeleke, hopes are rekindled and just as Osun people elected him in 2018 before the mandate was shamelessly stolen, they are more than ready again to make him the Governor in 2022 so as to reclaim our state from ruinous elements.”

 

Hon Asalu tasked Osun people to remain vigilant and turn away greek gift from those who deliberately plunged the state in a terrible mess, maintaining that Senator Adeleke remain the “only hope to salvage this state and once again, bring smiles to our faces.”
