2023: Suspected Political Thugs Sighted Destroying Opposition Guber Candidate Bill Boards In Ogun

The information reaching The Eaglesforesight correspondent reveals that some set of political thugs allegedly from the ruling party (APC) in Iperu, Ikenne Local Government of Ogun State have been reportedly caught in camera destroying the bill boards of the Peoples Democratic Party Governorship Candidate, Oladipupo Adebutu( Lado)

An eye witness told our correspondent that the whole town was attacked in the early hours of Tuesday 27th of December by the ruling party, All Progressive Congress ward 4 Councilor, Ikenne Local Government.

Our source alleged that the ward 4 Councilor in Ikenne Local Government, Hon. Toyosi Adeshina was earlier seen on Tuesday where he led some political thugs destroying opposition banners, posters, and other campaign materials in the town.

However, check by EaglesForesight reveals that the act of destroying campaign materials belonging to opposition parties is prohibited by Section 10, code of conduct for political parties.

Our correspondent who visited the town on Tuesday engaged the residents and the powers that be in government were accused of being behind the attack.

An eyewitness that pleaded anonymous said, “This is not an election, but outright brigandage, this is the handiwork of their boss in collaboration with the Councilor, this is not acceptable.

As at the time of filing this report, the Divisional Police Officer of Iperu Police Division Iperu is yet to be reached after several attempts from our correspondent.
