Breaking: Appeal Court To Rule Over PDP Guber Primary November 28

The Appeal Court sitting in Ibadan on Tuesday, 28th November, 2022 has reserved judgements for the appeals filed by PDP and Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu over the rulings of Federal High Court, Abeokuta delivered by Justice O. Oguntoyinbo which ordered a fresh governorship primary election and the second order for a fresh primary election of all elective positions.

It would be recalled that an Appeal Court sitting in Abuja has nullified the objection of the Counsel to Taiwo Olabode (Jimi LAWAL’s cohorts) seeking the dismissal of Hon. ADEBUTU’S application to appeal the Federal High Court’s judgement.

However, Justice Folashade Ojo had delivered the unanimous decision of the panel in the ruling in favour of Hon. Adebutu on the ground that an applicant can not suffer the error of the Tribunal Secretary or Court Registrar.

The judgement will hopefully put to rest all the lingering issues surrounding the PDP primary elections and allow a lasting peace in Ogun PDP needed for the party’s victory in OGUN State.

With the judgement date announced for all cases involving Olabode & co (Jimi Lawal’s cohorts) and Prince Segun Seriki, according to Media Director, Ladi Adebutu & Akinlade Campaign Organization, Afolabi Orekoya, Hon Ladi Adebutu’s victory is looking bright as the Victory will reinstate the Candidacy and put Hon. Adebutu on the ballot for the 2023 Gubernatorial election in OGUN State.
