This comes a month after Donald Ajibola, the musician’s lawyer, told our correspondent that Adeniyi had promised to meet her.
Ajibola, on September 19, said he had read FIJ’s report about Ayeni’s claim that Adeniyi fathered her in 1970, and spoken with the musician about it.
He said, “I contacted Ayeni some days back and told her that I had spoken with Sunny Ade. What I told her was that I spoke with him and he agreed to meet her.
“The only thing is that he is too busy and cannot meet her now. It was even difficult for me to meet him. When he has time, he will meet with her.”
FIJ spoke with Ayeni on Friday, and eaglesforesight correspondent recorded that she had neither heard from Ajibola nor Adeniyi since the last conversation in September.
We placed multiple calls to Ajibola, but he failed to respond. A text message sent to him was not replied to as of press time.
