PHOTOS: Presidential Campaign For Amosun Begins In Ogun-State Part Of South-West, As Posters, Branded Vehicles Surface

The presidential Campaign ambition of Ogun State former Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun (SIA) has begun in Ogun state with posters and branded vehicles.

Eaglesforesight observed that campaign posters with Amosun’s picture has resurfaced in Abeokuta ahead of 2023 general elections.

Amosun, who now represents Ogun Central at the Senate, is one of the the All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders believed to be eyeing the presidential seat.

It was observed that Amosun’s poster was placed at the popular NNPC bridge along presidential boulevard way, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.

On the poster, there are three images of Amosun wearing Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa attires.

It also has the picture of one “Oba Agoro” who appears to be the brain behind the campaign.

“Your voice, your choice SIA (meaning Senator Ibikunle Amosun) for President,” an inscription on the poster, reads.

Branded vehicles were also sighted in the Abeokuta metropolis with similar campaign.

An aide to Amosun insisted that the former Governor was not the brain behind the posters.

“Such poster wouldn’t have come from him. I can’t say exactly where it came from. I don’t think he knows anything about it. You have heard about different politicians’ posters surfacing in Abuja.

“So, I’m not sure he knows anything about it,” the aide who pleaded anonymity, said.
