2025 Sagamu Day Festival: Football Fixtures Draws Conducted at Ewusi Palace

The road to the yet another historical Sagamu Day Youth Festival has officially kicked off with the unveiling of the football tournament fixtures, held on Saturday, September 20, at the Ewusi Palace, Sagamu.
The draws, a major prelude to the festival, attracted community representatives, football enthusiasts, and youth leaders, underscoring the unifying spirit of the annual celebration.
The football competition is being organized by the Sagamu Youth Association (SYA), under the leadership of its President, Comrade Olugbenga Isiaka Lawal (Ambassador Easy). A central committee was set up to coordinate the festival activities, with Comrade Teslim Bello (Tessy Abab) serving as Chairman, Comrade Mayomi Fagbemi as Secretary, Comrade Oluwaseun Ifedayo Akande as Treasurer, and Comrade Adewale Hammed Bashiru (Honourable Prince Lahbash), SYA’s Director of Special Duties, as Public Relations Officer (PRO).
To manage the tournament, a football subcommittee was constituted, chaired by Comrade Oluwaseun Awofodu, with Comrade Opeyemi Dada as Secretary and Comrade Saheed Odumosu as a member.
Organizers assured that adequate security measures have been put in place, stressing that the competition would be both peaceful and entertaining.
