2023: Ondo youth leader mobilizes support for Tinubu

Ondo State All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Leader Ayo Olawande has urged members of the ruling Ondo State All Progressives Congress (APC) to remain strong and united to advance the state for the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed. Tinubu in 2023.

Olawende stated this in Akure, the state capital, during a house-to-house mobilization for the APC presidential candidate, who insisted that the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, remains the best option to move Nigeria forward

However, the youth leader said that the party needed to be unified to improve the party’s chances in the general election in the state.

Olawende said the mobilization became necessary to educate and familiarize the people of the state with the need to vote for a credible leader like Tinubu, who said the APC presidential candidate is blessed with the experience to deliver good governance .

Olawande, who described youth as critical stakeholders who determine the success and fate of every political party in every election, expressed his optimism that the teeming Nigerian youth will progress under Tinubu’s administration as president.

According to him, Tinubu enjoyed the unique status of being the only politician with open followers and disciples in all states of the country, many of whom had positive encounters with him by positively changing their lives.

He described Tinubu as “an inclusive leader with visible footprints of development and tangible support across the country, saying his achievements in Lagos and the depth of his policy action for Nigerians make him the top presidential candidate.

Olawende, however, called on the youth of the state to secure at least 90 percent of all votes cast in the state for the APC presidential nominee, “to further the lofty dreams of our dear country.

“APC presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has pledged to use technology and the digital economy to create jobs.

“He has also pledged to work towards providing a student loan that would greatly ease the burden of students and also implement reforms to ensure a stable academic calendar in our tertiary institutions.

“The APC candidate has been committed to helping reform our security system to make our uniformed men more professional and operate strictly within the scope of the law”

The Ondo youth leader said, “It is my firm belief that Asiwaju remains the best option to move Nigeria forward.

“His achievements during his tenure, including the thriving entertainment and film industry, made possible by his government which had employed many inactive youths hitherto; we can judge his capacity to do a good job as President of Nigeria.

“Based on his antecedents, ability and track record, we can almost be confident that Nigeria will move forward under Asiwaju.

“The greatness we seek for Nigeria will not just happen because we can dream about it or debate it on social media or when we come together as a group; it will only happen because we all as a collective choose to participate when it matters most.

“Certainly, we can achieve our collective desire for Nigeria if we all work together and collaborate with other stakeholders to lead this country to its desired destination.”
