2022 Sagamu Day: A Walk With HRM Akarigbo, Organized By Youths Commences Today.

The Sagamu day festival, a supposed annual program that is scheduled this year for 48hours (2 days) is an event that do bring the illustrious sons and daughters of the community both at home and in diaspora together for celebration of life, accomplishments in the town, culture, traditions and well being of her citizens and residents.

Sagamu is a town currently located in Sagamu Local Government, Remo area of Ogun state in southwestern part of Nigeria.
Sagamu day is hugely celebrated yearly in an elaborated way that usually last for a week to two, until it is recently reduced this year to forty eight (48) hours due to security and other reasons by this year organizers.

THE OPENING CEREMONY:
The paramount ruler and The Akarigbo of Remo land, Oba Babatunde Ajayi Adewale, shall be opening the ceremony with a walk around  the town with the articulate and vibrant Youths of the community.

The Sagamu Day Youth event which was supposed to be a week event is now 48hrs, it will go as thus.

A WALK WITH AKARIGBO is slated for today 27th of October, starting time, 07:00am prompt.
Convergence point is front of Akarigbo Palace.

The investors, good deeds and accomplishments with the community shall be recognized during the festival. Most time, chieftaincy titles are given to appreciate significant community growth and development contributors, for creating opportunities for indigenes and residents. Few of the honorary title are Asoludero, Atunluse, Amuludun, and many more.

While day two program of this year program is coming on the 28th of October, 2022 FRIDAY.
