2022 RAMADAN: A Divine Lesson Of Humility And Selflessness -Hon. Adewale Aka

The S.A on Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs to Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, in person of Honourable Asiwaju Adewale Nurudeen otherwise known as Aka, who is a foremost aspirant in the race to represent Sagamu constituency 1, Offin at the Ogun State House of Assembly come 2023, has congratulated the Muslim faithfuls upon completion of this year Ramadan fast.

In his congratulatory message which was obtained from him in his office at Epe, Sagamu, the grassroot mobilizer stated that the RAMADAN fast is a divine lesson from Allah to teach mankind humility and Selflessness.

He stressed further that no matter how highly placed one is, he or she is expected to partake in fasting exercise thereby feeling the pain and hunger those downtrodden and have nothing to eat go through on daily basis.

AKA appealed to those that have the means, with all sincerety to humbly and always look after the less privilege and downtrodden in the society as the Holy Qur’an teaches the importance of such gestures.

According to Aka, as he is fondly called, so many lessons and virtues of Islam have been learnt during this period, and such lessons should not be thrown to the wind or discarded, but such are to be sustained in our daily lives. He appealed to the Muslim faithfuls to follow the tenents of Islam wherever they found themselves and imbibe the teachings of Prophet Mohammed (SWT) as they are evergreen and promotes peaceful coexistence among people of all faiths.
