2022 Afotamodi Day: Adebutu Donates 500KVA Transformer, N5m Worth Of Materials For Community Project

In his usual philanthropic gestures, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Gubernatorial Hopeful, Hon.Dr.(Sir) Oladipupo Adebutu, has donated construction materials to the tune of Five Million Naira and a 500KVA transformer to Isara Remo during the 2022 edition of the Afotamodi Festival on Saturday, 12th November, 2022.

Adebutu made these donations during his speech as the Chief Guest of Honour at the festival; he said his love for the good people of Isara and the community leaders are part of his reasons for always supporting Isara community at all times, which was also reason for his acceptance to be the Chief Guest of Honour at the event.

He noted that lives can be more meaningful and fulfilling when there is sustainable economic and social development in the community. Towards his efforts at alleviating the power problems in the community, he donated a 500KVA transformer to Isara community which is an addition to the over 300 units of transformers he has donated across Ogun State.

Impressed by the assemblage of the various “regberegbe” groups, Adebutu also donated two million Naira cash to the various Clubs, Associations and groups(Regbe Regbe) present at the festival.

Further in his address, Adebutu lamented high level of poverty that has ravaged the country at large owning to the failure of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) both at the State and Federal levels

He therefore, urged members of the community not to be deterred but to endure the little time prior the 2023 general elections at all levels of governance with the assurance that the PDP shall restore hope for the masses.
