11 burned in Ondo traffic accident
No less than 11 people were killed in a road accident in the town of Ore along the Benin-Shagamu Expressway in the Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State on Sunday morning.
It was believed that a Marcopolo bus and a truck were involved in the accident. The victims were said to have been burned beyond recognition when the vehicles involved caught fire.
Federal Road Safety Corps Ondo sector commander Mr. Ezekiel Son’Allah confirmed the incident.
According to him, the accident was caused by speeding by the drivers of the vehicles involved.
