Odogbolu Chairman Diya Appreciates Loyalists, Praises Governor Abiodun’s Leadership

The Executive Chairman of Odogbolu Local Government, Hon. (Dr.) Babatunde Diya, has once again demonstrated his appreciation for loyalty and commitment by rewarding two of his dedicated aides with a Toyota Camry and a Bajaj motorcycle.

The beneficiaries, Mr. Ademola Fayemi and Mr. Nurudeen Adekoya — who serves as Senior Special Assistant to the Chairman — were recognized for their unwavering support and long-standing contributions to the success of the administration.

At the presentation ceremony, which drew dignitaries from across Ogun State, the Honourable Member representing Ijebu Central Federal Constituency, Hon. Olufemi Ogunbanwo, lauded Dr. Diya for exemplifying a leadership style that values performance, integrity, and loyalty.

According to Ogunbanwo, “This gesture will further strengthen unity within the local government and inspire others to contribute selflessly to community development. Dr. Diya has shown that there is always a reward for hard work and dedication.”

Speaking with our correspondent, Dr. Diya reaffirmed his commitment to people-oriented governance and inclusive leadership.

“It gives me great joy to give back to my people. I made a promise during my campaign to always appreciate those who work diligently for the progress of our local government. This is just one of many steps toward fulfilling that promise,” he said.

The chairman also disclosed that more empowerment initiatives are underway across all wards as part of his administration’s ongoing welfare programs.
