Hon. Elegbeji Condoles APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda Over Mother’s Death

Member-elect for Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Princess Ayoola Adesola Elegbeji, has commiserated with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, on the passing of his mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda.
In a heartfelt condolence message issued on Thursday, August 28, 2025, Elegbeji described the late matriarch as a pillar of love, compassion and strength whose life of grace and kindness shaped the values of her children and those around her.
She noted that Mama Lydia’s death is not only a painful loss to the Yilwatda family but also to everyone whose lives she touched.

“Though words cannot fully capture the grief of losing a mother, I encourage you to find solace in the impactful life she lived and the enduring legacy she left behind. Her values of compassion, grace and service are clearly reflected in your own leadership and commitment to the nation,” Elegbeji said.
Speaking on behalf of her constituents, the lawmaker-elect extended the solidarity of the people of Ikenne, Sagamu and Remo North to the APC chairman during this period of mourning.
“We stand with you in prayer, asking God to grant Mama eternal rest and to comfort your family with the strength to bear this great loss,” she added.
Elegbeji concluded by praying for the repose of Mama Lydia Yilwatda’s soul and for fortitude for the bereaved family.
