Dangote Trailer Reportedly Crushes Family to Death in Enugu

Tragedy struck on Wednesday at the Four Corner Junction in Enugu State when a trailer allegedly belonging to Dangote Group rammed into a vehicle, crushing an entire family to death.
Eyewitnesses at the scene said none of the occupants of the car survived the fatal collision. A video circulating on social media shows the family’s vehicle completely flattened under the weight of the truck.
The incident comes just days after Ruth, the younger sister of Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Phyna, died from injuries sustained in a separate accident involving a Dangote Group truck. The company had earlier disclosed that arrangements were being made to fly her abroad for treatment before her untimely death.

The recurring road tragedies have heightened public outrage, with social activist VeryDarkMan recently leading an online campaign against what he described as the “reckless conduct” of Dangote drivers on Nigerian highways. He also alleged that the driver involved in Ruth’s accident was operating without a valid licence.
As of the time of filing this report, neither the Enugu State Police Command nor the Dangote Group had released an official statement regarding Wednesday’s crash.
