Hon. Ayoola Elegbeji Congratulates Gov. Abiodun Ahead of Gateway International Airport Commissioning

The Member-Elect representing Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Princess Adesola Ayoola-Elegbeji, has extended warm congratulations to the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, and the people of the state ahead of the official commissioning and inaugural commercial flight of the Gateway International Airport (GIA), scheduled for Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
In a statement personally signed by her, Hon. Ayoola-Elegbeji described the forthcoming event as a historic milestone that exemplifies Governor Abiodun’s visionary leadership, resilience, and enduring commitment to infrastructural and economic advancement in Ogun State.
“The Gateway International Airport, strategically located in Remo land, is not just a project — it is a legacy of purposeful governance and forward-thinking leadership. With scheduled commercial flights to Abuja on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the facility is expected to ease travel and boost economic activities across the state and beyond.
